The summer school will take place in the Systems Analysis Laboratory (SAL) and the lectures will be held in Hall M1 in the old HUT main building. The street address is Otakaari 1 F, Espoo.

Campus restaurants in Otaniemi
For accommodation options, see the How to apply page. We have reserved a block of rooms in the university visitors inn in the city of Helsinki.
The summer school will take place on the Aalto university campus in Otaniemi which is west of the city of Helsinki and easily reached by bus. See map.
Suggested buses to be used are here.
The participants will get a bus pass for the week. The pass allows you unlimited travel in these buses, as well as in other regional buses in the Helsinki area.
Accommodation options
We have reserved a block of rooms in the University guest house Töölö Towers in Helsinki. The services include e.g. a sauna.
The rooms have a kitchenette, free wifi and a complimentary breakfast is included. This is the suggested accommodation for the participants.
The cost for the whole period Sunday May 15-Sunday May 22,2016 is- single room 329 euros for 7 nights
- room with a kitchen 399 euros for 7 nights
- double occupancy 553 euros for two (276,50 e per person) for seven nights (we can assign same sex participants to share a room or you can tell us with whom to share the room)
The participants will pay the rooms directly to the Töölö Towers once the reservation is confirmed through us.
There are many other hotel accommodation options in Helsinki if you want to book yourself. One cheap alternative is e.g. the new Eurohostel. It is located in the city center as well, but a little further away from the bus to our campus. If you choose to stay here, please make your own reservation directly with the hostel.
