The summer school invites applications from doctoral students and postdocs interested in learning about behavioural issues in modelling and decision support. You need not yet have any experience in behavioural studies. Students can be from any area of operational research. We also welcome doctoral students studying other disciplines such as behavioural, social and computational sciences. Knowledge of OR is not a prerequisite - interdisciplinarity is in a key role in BOR. Advanced masters level students can also apply.

Deadline for applications is February 20th, 2016.

The application should include:

• a summary of your area of interest, previous studies and description of your interest to participate in the summer school (masters students need only send a summary of their previous studies)
• a CV with your picture (masters students send your CV if available)
• link to your personal web site, if available
• name of your academic supervisor
• info about your accommodation preference - would you like to reserve a single/shared room accommodation in the Töölö Towers (see below) if you will be accepted to the summer school?

The participation fee is 150 euros and will be specified at the time of confirmation of participation. The participation fee covers a weeks bus pass in the Helsinki area and the social events. Masters level students from Aalto University can participate for free.

Participants need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs as well as their daily meals. There are many low cost student cafeterias for lunch on campus, see link.

The Summer school aims to have motivated participants representing different areas of studies,interests and countries.

All applicants will be informed of the results by March 1st , 2016.
